The Manipuri of Myanmar

The Manipuri of Myanmar, numbering approximately 28,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a tribal ethnic group indigenous to the state of Manipur in northeast India and the Sylhet District of northeastern Bangladesh They are an Diaspora people, in the Manipuri people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Meitei.
