The Danu of Myanmar

The Danu of Myanmar, numbering approximately 113,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a government-recognized ethnic group of southern Shan State, centered near Pindaya, whose oral traditions trace their ancestry to intermarriage between Burmese men and Shan women. They mostly adhere to Theravada Buddhism and Danu is their primary language.
