They are an ethnolinguistic group of China, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, and Vietnamand can also be known as Lao Thai. They are an Indigenous people, in the Tai people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Lü.
