The Gonedauan of Fiji

The Gonedauan of Fiji, numbering approximately 850 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small East Fijian people of the Galoa and Tavea islands off western Vanua Levu, forming warrior-class Bati clan divisions within Kadavu's social structure, descended from Lapita voyagers who settled Fiji between 1100 and 550 BCE. They mostly adhere to Protestantism and Gone Dau is their primary language.
