The Tsou of Taiwan

The Tsou of Taiwan, numbering approximately 6,800 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as an Austronesian people of Taiwan's Alishan mountains whose clans trace migration from the Yushan peak to the Chianan Plain, forming their first multi-clan settlement of Tfuya around 1600, marked today by the Homeyaya and Mayasvi festivals They are an Indigenous people, with Tsou as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Taiwan Indigenous people cluster of the East Asian Peoples. They mostly adhere to Protestantism and Tsou is their primary language.
