The Rukai of Taiwan

The Rukai of Taiwan, numbering approximately 13,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous people of Taiwan, south central mountains, Ping Tung area, 11 villages; Taitung area, 2 or 3 villages; west of the Puyuma (pyu) and can also be known as Drukai. They are an Indigenous people, in the Taiwan Indigenous people cluster of the East Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Rukai.
