The Khmu of China

The Khmu of China, numbering approximately 1,900 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an Austroasiatic ethnic group originating in northern Laos but long established in southwest China and neighboring areas of Thailand and Vietnam. They are an Indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Khmu and their primary religion is Animism.
