The Jingpo of China

The Jingpo of China, numbering approximately 29,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as the largest Kachin subgroup, known as Jingpo in China and Singpho in India, descended from the ancient Di and Qiang of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, who completed their migration to the China-Myanmar borderlands by the 1500s They are an Indigenous people, with Kachin as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Miri-Kachin people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples. They mostly adhere to Protestantism and Kachin is their primary language.
