They are an ethno-religious sub-group of Mandarin-speaking Han Chinese They are an Indigenous people, in the Chinese-Hui people cluster of the East Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Chinese, Mandarin.
