They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of Han Chinese originating in the northern China provinces of Shanxi and central Inner Mongolia. They are an Indigenous people, in the Chinese people cluster of the East Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Unaffiliated - Agnosticism. They primarily speak Chinese, Jinyu.
