The Ge of China

The Ge of China, numbering approximately 167,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an unrecognized Chinese minority of southeastern Guizhou's Qiandongnan prefecture whose Hmongic speech ties them to the Miao, yet who have long asserted a separate identity, known for a distinct batik-making tradition. They mostly adhere to Chinese Folk Religion and Ge is their primary language.
