The Ewenki of China

The Ewenki of China, numbering approximately 29,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a small, officially recognized ethnic minority of China, part of the wider Evenki/Tungusic peoples of North Asia. The Ewenki are historically forest hunters and herders, with some becoming steppe pastoralists. They mostly adhere to Shamanism and Evenki is their primary language.
