The Bunan of China

The Bunan of China, numbering approximately 2,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a very small, Himalayan people living in far‑western Tibet near the China–India border. They are usually subsumed administratively under Tibetans, even though they speak a distinct Tibeto-Burman language and have their own local identity. They are an Indigenous people, in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Gahri.
