The Bulang of China

The Bulang of China, numbering approximately 104,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Indigenous ethnic group of southwestern China and one of the 56 officially recognized ethnic minorities of the People’s Republic of China. They are best known for their ancient tea‑growing culture, their Austroasiatic (Mon‑Khmer) language. They are also known as Blang. They are an Indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Blang and their primary religion is Theravada Buddhism.
