They are a language of Nepal, Narayani zone: west Makwanpur and Chitawan districts, and south and southwest and can also be known as Southwestern Tamang. They are an Indigenous people, in the South Himalayan people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Tamang, Eastern.
