The Rajbansi of Nepal

The Rajbansi of Nepal, numbering approximately 171,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Terai people of eastern Nepal who trace their name and identity to the historic Koch kingdom of Koch Bihar, founded in the late 15th century, with communities concentrated in Morang and Jhapa districts near the Indian border. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Rajbanshi is their primary language.
