The Majhi of Nepal

The Majhi of Nepal, numbering approximately 94,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Indigenous community of Nepal traditionally associated with boat-rowing but now largely engaged in diverse livlihoods such as farming, wage labor, small business, and contract work. They are an Indigenous people in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Majhi and their primary religion is Hinduism.
