The Eastern Tamang of Nepal

The Eastern Tamang of Nepal, numbering approximately 1,620,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Tibeto-Burmese ethnic group indigenous to Nepal, Southern Bhutan, and North India and can also be known as Eastern Tamang. They are an Indigenous people, in the South Himalayan people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Tamang, Eastern.
