The Dolpa of Nepal

The Dolpa of Nepal, numbering approximately 12,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Tibetan ethnolinguistic community living in the high Himalayas of north‑western Nepal, primarily in Dolpa District, near the border with Tibet and can also be known as Dolpo-pa. They are an Indigenous people, with Dolpa Tibetan as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Tibetan Buddhism. They primarily speak Dolpo.
