The Darmiya of Nepal, numbering approximately 1,600 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Sino-Tibetan tribal group indigenous to the Darma Valley, Dharchula Tehsil, Pirthoragarh District of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. They are an Diaspora people in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Darmiya and their primary religion is Hinduism.
