The Byangsi of Nepal

The Byangsi of Nepal, numbering approximately 2,700 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a people of Nepal, Mahakali zone: Darchula District, Byas Valley and can also be known as Byansi, Byasis, Byanshi, Souka, Rang, Byangkho Lwo, Ranglo, Shauka, Byasis, Rangpa. They are an Indigenous people, in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Byangsi.
