The Manipuri of Bangladesh, numbering approximately 43,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a tribal ethnic group indigenous to the state of Manipur in northeast India and the Sylhet District of northeastern Bangladesh . They are an Indigenous people, in the Manipuri people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Meitei.
