They are a Mongolic ethnic group indigenous to southeastern Siberia and can also be known as Buriat-Mongolian, Northern Mongolian. They are an Indigenous people, in the Mongolian people cluster of the East Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Buriat, Russia.
