The Konda Kapu of India, numbering approximately 18,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Scheduled Tribe of the hill districts of Andhra Pradesh whose name combines konda (hill) and kapu (watchman). Hunting, shifting cultivation, and forest produce collection remain their traditional occupations They are an Indigenous people, with Konda Kapu as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Kapu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism. They primarily speak Telugu.
