The Bhattra (Bhatri) of India, numbering approximately 337,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a scheduled tribe of Chhattisgarh and Odisha in central India. The community claims to have come from north India to Warangal and then gone on the Bastar along with a ruler of the Kakatiya dynasty. They are also known as Bhatra, Bhatta, Bhattri, Bhottada, भट्तरा. They are an Indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Bhatri and their primary religion is Folk Hinduism.
