The Hawrami of Iraq, numbering approximately 45,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a subgroup of the larger Kurdish community of Iraq and can also be known as Gurani, Gorani, Awromani, Bajalani. They are an Indigenous people, in the Kurd people cluster of the Persian-Median affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Shia. They primarily speak Gurani.
