The Nambutiris of India

The Nambutiris of India, numbering approximately 70,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are the Brahmin community of Kerala, also called Malayala Brahmin, traditionally trusted advisors to the region's rajas and chiefs. Settled cultivation and priesthood remain common, alongside business and government service. They are an Indigenous people in the Brahmin people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Malayalam and their primary religion is Hinduism.
