The Sichuan Mongols of China

The Sichuan Mongols of China, numbering approximately 29,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a distinct Mongolic ethnic group living in southwestern China, primarily in Sichuan Province, particularly in the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture. They are an Indigenous people in the Mongolian people cluster of the East Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Mongolian, Peripheral and their primary religion is Tibetan Buddhism.
