The Husa Achang of China

The Husa Achang of China, numbering approximately 8,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a distinct subgroup of the Achang ethnic people of southwest China, centered in Husa (户撒) in Longchuan County, Dehong Dai–Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. They are an Indigenous people in the Other Tibeto-Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Achang and their primary religion is Mahayana Buddhism.
