The Poles of Austria, numbering approximately 58,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a West Slavic people of Central Europe whose culture has been shaped by Slavic heritage, Roman Catholic traditions, agricultural and urban communities, and a long history of statehood, foreign rule, and national resilience.
