The Ik of Uganda

The Ik of Uganda, numbering approximately 11,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnic tribe indigenous to northeastern Uganda, near the Kenyan border. They are an Indigenous people in the Khoisan people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Ik and their primary religion is Roman Catholicism.
