The Greeks of Turkiye, numbering approximately 4,300 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Southern European people whose culture has been shaped by a long continuity of life in the eastern Mediterranean, a shared Greek language, Orthodox Christian traditions, maritime connections, and a strong historical consciousness. They are an Diaspora people in the Greek people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Greek and their primary religion is Eastern Orthodox Christianity.
