The Dandachatra Majhi of India, numbering approximately 162,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an occupational caste community of Odia, Bengali, and Kudmali language speakers found in Mayurbhanj and Baleswar districts of Odisha, Midnapur district of West Bengal, and Singhbhum district of Bihar, traditionally carrying royal and temple insignias. They are also known as Dandachatra Majhi. They are an Indigenous people in the Odia people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Odia and their primary religion is Hinduism.
