The Mima of Sudan

The Mima of Sudan, numbering approximately 167,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a distinct Muslim ethnic group living primarily in western Sudan, especially in Darfur and parts of Kordofan. They are closely related to the Mimi (Amdang) people of Chad. They are an Diaspora people in the Ouaddai-Fur people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Amdang and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
