The Yemeni Jews of Yemen

The Yemeni Jews of Yemen, numbering approximately 70 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnoreligious community that endured centuries of Islamic persecution from the 5th century onward; between June 1949 and September 1950, the overwhelming majority of the country's Jewish population emigrated to Israel in Operation Magic Carpet. They are an Indigenous people in the Jews people cluster of the Jewish Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Hebrew and their primary religion is Judaism.
