The Akan of Canada, numbering approximately 27,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are one of the largest ethnic groups in West Africa, indigenous to the present-day countries of Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. They are an Diaspora people, in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Akan.
