The Martinicans of Martinique, numbering approximately 340,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a French Creole-speaking ethnic community of mixed African and European ancestry that formed in the French West Indian settlement of Martinique during the 17th century. They are also known as Martiniquais, Martiniquaise. They are an Indigenous people in the Afro-Caribbean people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Lesser Antillean French Creole and their primary religion is Folk Catholicism.
