They are a northwestern Bantu ethnolinguistic group indigenous to the coastal area of Equatorial Guinea and can also be known as Ndowe, Kombe, Combe. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Northwest people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Kombe.
