The Garasia of India

The Garasia of India, numbering approximately 297,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of the Aravalli hills in Rajasthan whose name may mean hill-dwellers, tracing legendary descent from a union between a Bhil woman and a Rajput prince, and traditionally sustained by agriculture in relative isolation. They are an Indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Garasia, Adiwasi and their primary religion is Folk Hinduism.
