The Chote of India

The Chote of India, numbering approximately 4,100 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of Manipur also known as Purum, organized into nine patrilineal clans, traditionally dependent on shifting and wet cultivation, and largely Christian today while still worshipping traditional deities. They are an Indigenous people in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Naga, Chothe and their primary religion is Protestantism.
