The Garo of India, numbering approximately 1,065,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous community of Tibeto-Burmese in Northeast India and Bangladesh. They are an Indigenous people, in the Garo-Tripuri people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Garo.
