The Mang of India

The Mang of India, numbering approximately 3,065,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste spread across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Odisha. Traditionally tanners, shoemakers, and rope-makers, today agricultural labor is their common occupation. They are an Indigenous people in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Marathi and their primary religion is Folk Hinduism.
