The Mam of Mexico, numbering approximately 17,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Indigenous Maya people whose traditional territory spans the western highlands of Guatemala and the Soconusco region of Chiapas, Mexico They are an Indigenous people, in the Maya people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
