The Huichol of Mexico

The Huichol of Mexico, numbering approximately 85,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an Amerindian ethnic group indigenous to the Sierra Madre mountains in the Mexican states of Nayarit, Jalisco, Zacatecas, and Durango. They are an Indigenous people, in the Aztec people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
