The Kumiai of Mexico, numbering approximately 1,100 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous community of Mexico and can also be known as Tipai’, Kumeyaai, Kw’aal, Diegueño, Comeya, Kamiyai, Ki-Miai, Kamia, Quemayá, Ku’ahl, Tipéi, Tipái, Tipai, Kamiai, Campo, Kumeyaay, Kumia, Cochimí, Kamiyahi, Cuchimí, Ko’al, Cochimi. They are an Indigenous people, in the Central American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
