The Bhuimali of India, numbering approximately 208,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Hindu community found primarily in West Bengal, Assam, Bangladesh, and parts of northeastern India. Historically, they have been associated with occupations such as sweeping, sanitation work, agricultural labor, and other village service roles They are an Indigenous people, with Bhuimali as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Bengali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Bengali.
