The Santal of Bhutan

The Santal of Bhutan, numbering approximately 2,200 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Austroasiatic-speaking Munda tribal group indigenous to the Indian subcontinent and can also be known as Santhal, Majhi. They are an Diaspora people, in the Munda-Santal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Santhali.
