The Kuluvan of India

The Kuluvan of India, numbering approximately 750 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a small Telugu-speaking community of Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu. Akin to the Kuravan, the Kuluvan are traditionally pig-breeders and bird-hunters. Some now call themselves Kattu Nayakkan and most are still pig-breeders. They are an Indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Telugu and their primary religion is Hinduism.
