The Boria of India

The Boria of India, numbering approximately 5,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Hindu agrarian community of north India, commonly understood as a sub-group of the Pasi community, though today they see themselves as a distinct community and generally do not intermarry with other Pasi groups. They are an Indigenous people, in the Assamese people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism - Folk. They primarily speak Awadhi.
