The Macanese of Macao

The Macanese of Macao, numbering approximately 8,900 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as an ethnic group of mixed Portuguese and Cantonese descent whose identity originated in Portuguese Colonial Macau. They are also known as Macaense, 土生葡人, Maquista.
They are an Indigenous people in the Other Southeast Asian people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Chinese, Yue is their primary language and Protestantism is their primary religion.

The Macanese are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
